Biography
Charisse is a passionate pediatric and school-based Occupational Therapist from the Philippines, practicing since 2011. A graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, she serves as the Assistant School Head of the Academy for Able Children with Exceptionalities, Inc., a private school recognized by the Department of Education for providing inclusive education to children with diverse needs.

In addition to being a Learning Without Tears Certified Handwriting Specialist, Charisse holds a variety of certifications that enrich her approach to therapy and education. She is a US-certified Occupational Therapist (OTR), a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist (CPMT) specializing in working with children with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, and a certified OT in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI). She is also trained in Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) and is a Reading Interventionist with expertise in the Multisensory Approach to Reading and Spelling, particularly for learners with Dyslexia. Currently, she is completing the Learn Play Thrive Approach to Autism, further expanding her toolkit for supporting children on the spectrum.

Though her professional roles are diverse, Charisse's greatest inspiration comes from being a sister to Abrahm, a joyful young adult with Autism. His remarkable journey continues to fuel her dedication to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
