Handwriting Specialist Network

Karina Black, OTR/L is a seasoned occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience, specializing as a Certified Handwriting Without Tears® Specialist for the past 17 years. She is an expert in handwriting remediation, keyboarding instruction, and executive function coaching, helping students excel both in and out of the classroom.

Karina has successfully worked with beginning writers as well as those with mild to severe handwriting challenges, using the Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum. She is available to support pre-K through middle school children in improving their handwriting skills.

Known for her patience, gentleness, and humor, Karina is passionate about empowering children to develop the confidence and life skills needed for success.
