Handwriting Specialist Network

Angelia Wood Hendren is an Occupational Therapist with 35 years of experience as an OT with 15 of those years certified as a Handwriting Without Tears specialist. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Occupational Therapy Program at East Carolina University in 1988. She has written articles for OT Advance and was their first app reviewer. She has worked in private outpatient settings with children and currently works with Davie County Schools as the manager of therapy services and full-time as an Occupational Therapist. She serves on the Autism team and the Assistive Technology team within the school along with her direct and support services to the students.
