Handwriting Specialist Network

Rachel, is an expert in HWT/LWT. She has been in the field of special education for 20+ years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Ohio Dominican University and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Development from Columbus State.  She is licensed by the State of Ohio to teach pre-K students, and as an Early Intervention Specialist. She has worked with agencies in both Delaware and Franklin County. At these agencies she worked to create and implement programs to help individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Utilizing her passion for helping students with special needs, she has been able to explore multiple avenues: including music and dance, art and activities to help students improve their motor skills. She is also a reading tutor and has completed Wilson training. Most of all, Rachel loves helping children discover the world of writing and reading!
