Ana is a passionate pediatric therapist. She earned her master’s degree in educational and social development and her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy (OT) in Bogota, Colombia. She worked as a professor in OT for 25 years practiced in diverse private and public settings working with people with mental disorders, especially children with neurodevelopmental disorders. In the USA, she has worked in Montessori Schools providing support to children with diverse needs and learning difficulties. In addition to being a Learning Without Tears Certified Handwriting Specialist, Ana holds a variety of certifications that enrich her approach to therapy and education. She is a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist (CPMT) specializing in working with children with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, Craniosacral Therapist (CST-I), Behavior Technician Therapist (RBT), and Community Health Worker from Texas A&M University, supporting children’s development and mental health in communities. She also trained in Primitive Reflex Integration, child development, Sensory processing disorders, and Montessori Foundational Studies. Ana loves supporting children and their families through improving handwriting skills and allowing them to build a solid foundation for academic and life skills success.
